Sailing
a multihull on the Chesapeake Bay has many advantages. The boats are
faster than your typical cruising monohull therefore they can reached farther
destinations in a shorter period of time. Also, their ability to raise the
centerboard or dagger board allows most multihulls to gunk hole in places
most boat can't reach. These two points alone adds up to hundreds of
cruising opportunities on the Chesapeake Bay.
The
CMA wants to help you explore the Chesapeake Bay. Throughout the
season we will feature festivals, race weekends and CMA events.
